B had her first game tonight. The coach has some very good practice techniques that I really like. Instead of just doing a basic practice, he is really focusing on technique, which her coaches from the last two years have not done. Things like if the 2nd basemen has to go get a ball then short stop covers 2nd, double plays, a 'pickle' (not sure what the technical term for that is).
B *SO* enjoys playing softball! And she is getting better and better! She is connecting with the ball when she bats, she is not backing away from the fly balls as much. So far her favorite positions are outfield (left or right center) and 3rd base.
